Welcome to the Presbytery of Lake Erie's Web page, and to the mission and ministry of the 12,500 members of the 61 congregations in the 6 counties of northwestern Pennsylvania and one in New York. For those of you who are not Presbyterian, you may want to go to our mission statement, to find out what those 61 churches are committed to doing collectively, as one of the parts of the Presbyterian Church (USA). You may also wish to visit the church information pages of our web site to learn about the communities where we are located, the place and time of worship, and the kinds of Christian education, mission, and ministry we provide.

For the clergy and laity of the Presbytery, you will find information ranging from ministerial and church directories, to committee lists, to resource availability in the Resource Center.  What else will appear will depend on you, on your needs, and your willingness to communicate those to us.

This Webpage is part of that effort to do a new thing, not for the sake of newness, but so that the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ that we are called to do here in northwestern Pennsylvania can be effectively carried out as we move into the new millennium.
