David Oyler was called to serve as General Presbyter of Lake Erie beginning August 1, 2003. A graduate of Grove City College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, he has served three congregations in his 24 years of ministry prior to his call as General Presbyter. Now living in North East, Pennsylvania, he seeks to travel as widely as possible within the presbytery to assist congregations in their ministries. His wife, Becky, is a third grade teacher in the North East Public Schools. They are the parents of four children – a daughter, Megan, who works in an accounting firm in Pittsburgh, and three sons, David who is a student at Clemson University, Stephen who is a student at Penn State University, The Behrend College, and Michael, who is a student at North East High School.

Sheila Kelly began working for the Presbytery of Lake Erie 20 years ago when she was a mere child of 10 years of age. Her extreme intelligence led her to excel exceedingly fast thru high school where she graduated from Villa Maria Academy at 7 years of age. Being extremely mature for her age, she began working for the Presbytery in 1984 having previously worked for the City of Erie, the Millcreek School District and Resources for Prevention (a drug and alcohol prevention program). During grade school and high school she held numerous part-time positions. Sheila, whose husband passed away in 2003, is the proud parent of Zoomer and Share (twins - both 17 years of age) who both currently live at home (mostly at the foot of the bed).

Tammy Achille has been employed at the Presbytery of Lake Erie for almost two years. She is married to Julio Achille, Jr. and is the mother of two teenage daughters. As a graduate of Villa Maria Academy in 1985, she spent her Freshman Year of College at John Carroll University in Cleveland and then transferred to Mercyhurst College in Erie. She enjoys working part-time so that she can fill the rest of her time actively involved in her children’s lives. She coaches soccer and basketball and spends the rest of the time being a mom and her daughters’ biggest fan. Angela is almost 13 and plays basketball. Megan is 16 and has played Varsity Soccer for Villa Maria Academy since her freshman year. Tammy enjoys the people she meets and the challenges that she faces each day working for the Presbytery Office.
Bill DeWitt has served as Presbytery Treasurer since 1997, when he retired. A CPA, he has held financial management positions in industry, with Hammermill Paper Company, and in higher education, with Gannon University. Earlier he was engaged in the practice of public accounting and was a Supply Corps officer in the U.S. Navy. Bill holds degrees from Lawrence University and the University of Wisconsin (Madison). Bill and Sally (his wife), who is a retired research assistant and naturalist, have been married since 1967 and have lived in Erie since 1976. Since retirement Bill and Sally have logged extensive travel miles, both in the air and on hiking trails. They have hiked in Austria, Italy and New Zealand, as well as annual treks to southern Arizona. Their children are Cathy who lives in West Newbury, MA, and Rick, currently living in Edinboro, PA.
